Emersyn is getting bigger every day. She has one tooth and is working hard on the second. Some of these pictures are from our photo shoot yesterday (Sunday) for her Christmas card. She was smiling at Diddy when these pictures were taken. Yes, her Haloween fairy wings ARE on his head and he is making them flap. Very funny - and a little scary!

The other pictures are of Emersyn's alter ego - upside down girl. Upside down girl make an appearance every evening at bath time. (Yes, they are out of order. Sorry. You can figure out which one is which.)

Emersyn has had a very busy fall. She has eaten some leaves, watched NC State play football, helped Jonas build his house and went trick or treating. Of course, everyone knew the candy wasn't Really for her.

Emersyn is also getting to be more and more fun every single day. She is very strong and almost crawled on Saturday. She can sit without support and can pull herself up on the couch, bed or anything that she can grab. She holds your fingers and walks around and around. I'm pretty sure she won't be crawling long before she takes off walking.

In terms of eating, she is trying little bits of all kinds of things. The only food we've found that is NOT good is garden vegetable baby food. We know she's a southern girl though. She loves mustard greens, corn bread and grits! Her favorites - yogurt, pears, apples and blueberries and gerber stars. She can feed herself pretty well too. It's funny to watch because it is messy and she is so precise and dainty picking up the food and then just shoves it in her mouth.
