Dirt and Sand

This week we completed filling in the pool and took a day trip to Wilmington. The sandy bottom pictures were taken on the Johnny Mercer Pier in Wrightsville Beach. The dirt picture was taken in our backyard before the 5 loads of dirt were spread.

Digging the Sand on Sullivan's Island

Emersyn and Mommy took their very first mother-daughter trip to visit our friends Jen and Robbie on Sullivan's Island in South Carolina. We had a lot of fun playing on the beach and hanging out with Jen and Robbie. It is a beautiful place. We had one foggy/rainy day and one beautiful sunny day. Of course, we only took pictures on the foggy/rainy day. This was the firt time Emersyn had visited the ocean when she was interested in playing in the sand. She really liked it! Mommy also ran her first 10K on Saturday and survived!
