Screamin' Summer
I think all of these images scream summer. Here you can see Eme picking peaches off of our peach tree. We actually got quite a few this summer - in spite of the squirrels. And, with those peaches we had an impromptu peach ice cream party where we have about 30 folks over to celebrate with us. It was fun.
You can also see in these pictures that our garden is growing great - see the great huge zucchini.
Taty also was convinced by Eme to run out in the rain. And, Eme got to ride on the jet ski with Daddy.

July 4th
So, it turns out that some folks do still check the blog. Thank you! Eme has has a busy, busy weekend. She played with Grace, McKenna, Lauren, Caroline, Ren and all the cul-de-sac kids. It was a blast literally. I'm pretty sure that Eme's fingers will not be unwrinkled anytime soon since she spent almost 99 percent of the 3.5 day weekend in the water. And, we got to celebrate LuLu's second birthday with Mimi, Poppy, Uncle Kai, Aunt Lauren, My Jonas and Maggie. It was quite fun. Happy Birthday, Lulu!
The snake pictures were from Friday, when she and her babysitter Annie accompanied me on a media story about venomous snakes in North Carolina. No, the one she is holding is not venomous, nor is it native to North Carolina. In fact, his name is Boudreaux and he's from Louisiana.
The sunflower picture is my attempt at photography. The picture is of a sunflower that grew from the seeds given to Eme by the Easter Bunny. The bees are addicted to it. I thought the picture was pretty enough to share.
